Our next EBL meeting will be held on June 6th, 2011, with speaker Sine Chadi - President & CEO, Imperial Equities Inc.

We're very excited to have Sine come down to speak with us, and as per usual, the meeting will take place at 8:00PM atAccent Lounge (8223 104 Street Northwest, Map).

Sine Chadi is President and CEO of Imperial Equities and since 1998 has overseen all aspects of Imperial's growth, development and management.

Imperial Equities is a publically traded diversified company anchored by commercial and industrial real estate properties. Imperial also distributes pharmaceutical products to the institutional and retail customers through its wholly owned subsidiary, Imperial Distributors Canada Inc. 

Sine is also the founder and principal shareholder of several other companies involved in real estate sales, asset management, property management and mortgage financing. He is an active community leader and an enthusiastic organizer and fundraiser for a number of community groups, charities and not for profit associations.

In 2008 Sine was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the year award and in 2005 he was awarded the Alberta Centennial Medal “for outstanding service to the people and the Province of Alberta”. In 2002 on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the accession of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth to the Throne, Sine was awarded the Golden Jubilee Medal. 

Sine was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta from 1993-1997. Here he represented his Caucus on a number of the Legislature's economic development, public accounts and treasury committees.
