The biggest announcement for EBL thus far has just been confirmed.....

Mayor of Edmonton, Stephen Mandel will be the speaker for the next meeting.

The top young business people in Edmonton getting together at Accent has caught the attention of the mayor and he is excited to come in and talk to us.

This special opportunity had to be scheduled with pretty short notice and therefore the meeting will be held on Wednesday October 13th at 8:00pm at Accent Lounge (8223 104 street).

This is a great opportunity for Edmonton's young business leaders to meet Stephen Mandel in the intimate and interactive EBL setting. Due to the strong demand at the last meeting, the first 50 people to arrive at the door for this meeting will get in. So if you want to get in, get there early!

Stephen Mandel:

Before running for public office, Mayor Mandel was an accomplished businessman bringing 30 years of private sector experience to City Hall.   As President of Mandel Group, he was involved in business development, residential and commerical real estate development, construction, as well as operations of hotels and sports enterprises.

Stephen remains active in the community and volunteers for organizations including the Mazankowski Heart Institute, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Jewish Community Centre, and Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre.   He is married, with two grown children.
